Episcopal 101 Classes

Fr. Lonnie will be offering "Episcopal 101 Classes" during Lent. These classes (also known as "Confirmation Classes" or "Inquirers' Classes") are for those who are interested in learning more about St. Anne's and the traditions, customs, and beliefs of the Episcopal Church.
Topics will include:
- Symbolism and sacraments in Episcopal worship
- How Episcopal beliefs are different from and similar to those of other denominations
- How to use the Prayer Book for more than just Sunday morning
- A non-boring crash course in Church history
- A tour of the church (including the behind-the-scenes stuff!)
- And much, much more...
These sessions are open to all who are interested, but are required for those adults who wish to formally join the Episcopal Church via baptism or confirmation. Classes will be held 4-6 p.m. on Sunday afternoons from February 28 - March 28. (Youth confirmation classes for teens in middle and high school will be offered at a later date.
Please contact Fr. Lonnie at the church office if you are interested in participating.
