How much do you know about our patron saint, St. Anne? Did you know that she is purported to be the mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary? Or that her feast day is usually celebrated around July 26?
In many Episcopal churches, there is a longstanding tradition of celebrating the feast day of the saint for whom that church is named. Such occasions are often marked with a joyful Eucharist, a parish meal, and festivities for all ages. With the hope, joy, and love that abounds in this congregation, we here at St. Anne's have much to celebrate!
Please join us this Sunday, July 25 for St. Anne's Feast Day. We will celebrate with a 10 a.m. Festal Eucharist and a 12 noon Lunch and Ice Cream Social. Think your homemade ice cream is the best? Bring it on! This is a perfect Sunday to bring friends, neighbors, and family members to experience the joy of St. Anne's Episcopal Church.
